The Dutch Whistleblowers Authority provides advice and support for persons who want to report a possible wrongdoing within the context of their work-related activities. The Authority also conducts investigations into wrongdoing within organizations and into reprisals against reporting persons, and provides know-how for organizations on how to improve their internal integrity policy.

As part of its information and awareness-raising campaign, the team at the authority developed a video emphasising the need for effective supports for whistleblowers, which was inspired by Professor Kenny and Professor Fotaki's work on the Costs of Whistleblowing
