The event took place at the 35th Cambridge International Symposium on Economic Crime. We were delighted to invite a wide range of excellent panel discussants. These included: Ms Dana Gold, Director of Education & Strategic Partnerships, and Mr Tom Devine, Legal Director, both from the Government Accountability Project, Washington DC; Mr John Devitt, Chief Executive, Transparency International Ireland, Dublin; Mr Howard Brown, US Attorney and UK Solicitor Advocate, Chairman, H.S Brown Ltd, London; Dr Justin Scholsberg, Lecturer in Journalism and Media, Birkbeck, University of London. Hosts Ms Georgina Halford-Hall, CEO Whistleblowers UK; Professor Marianna Fotaki, Warwick Business School, UK and Professor Kate Kenny, Queen’s University Belfast, Northern Ireland also presented.The event focused on two key issues relating to whistleblowing today: 'Enabling Whistleblowers' through the role of regulators and those who are accountable for supporting disclosures, and 'Managing Disclosures', which focused on how organisations can support whistleblowing through effective speak-up arrangements.Get in TouchWe regularly support and consult with organisations involved in supporting whistleblowing internationally.Get in touch with the research team.If you would like information of other free and practical whistleblowing resources, please email us.
